Summary :

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and ensuring efficient, effective, and safe management of goods and materials. Job duties include:

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficient, effective, and safe management of goods and materials

• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage of goods

• Supervise and train warehouse staff, including forklift operators and pickers/packers

• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment

• Coordinate the receiving, handling, and shipping of goods and materials

• Manage the distribution of goods to retail outlets, customers, or manufacturing units

• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks

• Prepare accurate and timely reports related to warehouse operations, such as inventory reports and shipping reports

• Stay informed of new technologies and methods in warehouse management and make recommendations for improvements

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers

• Manage HR responsibilities, such as hiring, training, and evaluating staff and implementing HR policies and procedures

• Oversee inventory control, including accuracy of inventory records, implementing inventory control processes, monitoring inventory levels, and conducting regular physical inventory counts

• Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or related field

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes

• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and inventory management software

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lead and motivate a team

• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following health and safety guidelines

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation:

$70k – $100k, Salary, DOE
